is a multi-cultural out of school club for children attending local schools in the north watford area. our aim is to provide quality out of school hours facilities for local children at a reasonable price. please see our ofsted report for march 2018 which graded as "good". it has come to our attention that a day nursery with a similar name to ours has received a very low grade inspection outcome. that nursery is not associated or connected to this club in any way. please note that due to the success of our clubs at cherry tree, parkgate infants and parkgate junior schools, our church hall site will permanently close its doors on 20th july 2018. please visit our 'news' section below for our latest updates. please scroll down the page for more information, or click on one of these links to jump to a specific section. what we do about us news documents the gallery testimonials contact information what we do offers breakfast and after school club facilities for children in reception class to age eleven. working within the framework of ofsted and the early years foundation stage, we are obliged to allocate a "key person" to all reception age children. the "key person" will monitor the child's progress at the club. this is designed to complement and enhance school records. if you would like to view our march 2018 ofsted inspection report please click on the link below. this will open a pdf copy of the report that can be viewed in adobe acrobat reader. please note that the linked file will open in a new window/tab. download march 2018 ofsted report at all club sites, breakfast club starts at 07:30 and the children will be taken to their classrooms for the morning bell. they will be collected from their classrooms for our afternoon sessions. please note that our cherry tree school club closes at 18:00. the clubs located at parkgate junior shcool and parkgate infants school close at 18:30. at club the children are given breakfast or light tea and cared for in the safe, secure and closed access surroundings that the school premises offer until it is time to either go to school or their parent or guardian collects them from after school sessions. with dietary needs varying greatly for our children, from september 2018, they may also bring their own afternoon snacks only from home. parents - please be mindful that some children at the club may have food allergies and we therefore request that no nuts etc. be brought into any club sessions. each afternoon we have half an hour of 'quite time'. this is designed to give children the chance to do their homework, read, do colouring or just sit quietly if they wish. the children do not particularly like this part of the session but their parents do! this takes place straight after their refreshments in order to allow their tea to go down. we pride ourselves on being a screen and keyboard free zone. you will not find a television, dvd, gameboy, wii etc. at any site. your children come to our clubs to play and interact with other children, not to sit down with a gadget!
